The Instil NGS Emerging Leader Scholarships are now open, giving young professionals the opportunity to gain a leading edge.
Instil - Engaging Bright Minds have partnered with NGS Super to bring Emerging Leaders two $6,000 education scholarships, and registration in the Emerging Leader program at the annual industry convention run by the Customer Owned Banking Association (COBA), later this year in Brisbane.
The scholarships provide the recipients with $6,000 to assist in the costs of vocational and/or tertiary education to further their knowledge and capabilities.
2016 winners Taj Chopra (CUA) and Jessica Stevens (MyCU) both walked away from participating in the Emerging Leaders stream inspired and motivated, with a new network of peers to help them succeed.
“I left convention with a can do attitude, believing that with the right education and support I really could one day be a leader,” said Ms Stevens.
Ms Stevens' passion and determination to progress her career and personal development motivated her to apply for the scholarship, and she will now undertake formal education to support experience gained under the leadership of then CEO Therese Turner.
Instil and NGS are committed to the education and professional development of young professionals working in the customer owned banking sector. The Emerging Leader Scholarships continue a proud tradition of recognising emerging leaders within the sector.
